KTPS Issues July 2008 Journal

The July issue (whole number 75) of KI-TU, the journal of the United Kingdom based Kiribati and Tuvalu Philatelic Society has been released.

Feature articles of the organization include the following:

• Kiribati island maps stamp series, including illustrations of original artwork and proofs.
• The newly expanded Phoenix Islands Protected Area and the related stamp issue, and an article on the Settlement Scheme of the late 1930's. Many covers are illustrated from the islands during this era.
• Kiribati new stamp issues, including a set for the Beijing Summer Olympics.
• Mail (or E-mail) bid Auction 1975 has 150 lots of stamps and covers related to Gilbert & Ellice, Tuvalu and Kiribati.
